“Synesthesia could not be a real perceptual phenomenon because it contradicted standard notions of separate sensory channels in the brain. This “must” be  too New Age, and might ruin your career.”

This is a typical reaction of scientific orthodoxy to something it cannot explain: deny it and sweep it under the carpet. But…

The world of mixed sensations

Synesthesia is  a neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second or more sensory or cognitive pathways.

Here are some coupled based on observation;

Anyone can test this and everybody is free to speak about this  Natural  Behavior of human brain.
